At Small Talk City
1415 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Berkeley
Join us for a cozy, family-friendly Denim Mending Morning at Small Talk City.
Bring your well-loved jeans and gather around the table as textile artist and Ebb founder, Geana, leads us through simple, beautiful visible mending techniques. This Sunday workshop is designed for families — one adult and up to two children — to learn how to repair and revive denim.
Let’s mend our well-worn clothes together. No sewing experience is required; we will show you how to prepare patches and hand-sew them. Simply bring kid or adult pants that need patching, and we will provide all the necessary materials. This is a great way to keep your favorite jeans out of landfill while adding a personal touch to your wardrobe
Geana will also have her reusable Ebb coffee filters available for purchase, giving families a chance to connect with the maker behind the brand and bring a little more sustainability into their daily rituals.
Come mend, sip, snack, and spend a gentle morning in community.
